No. You can map the whole round afterward: pick the course and tees, then tap where each shot finished. If you prefer, you can also place shots during the round from your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Search by course name, city or state. Many courses have real outlines of fairways, greens, bunkers and water; where an outline isn't available, you get a schematic hole you can still map on. If your course isn't listed, you can type its name and play it anyway.

Each shot is compared with what a typical golfer needs from the same spot, based on distance to the hole and lie. Finish in a better position than that and you gained strokes; finish worse and you lost them. By default the comparison is a typical golfer at your handicap (scratch until you have one), and the totals are split into off the tee, approach, around the green and putting.

No. Sushi Golf calculates a WHS-method handicap estimate from your finished rounds so you can follow the trend. It is not an official Handicap Index, and Sushi Golf does not post scores to a handicap service.

As accurate as where you place them. Shots mapped after the round are your placements on the course map, not GPS measurements. If you turn on location during the round, you can place a shot exactly where you are standing.

Once a round's map has loaded, edits save on your device first and sync in order when you have a connection again. A brand-new install needs a connection to sign in and load courses.

Yes, it's free to start: recording rounds, stats, replay and the Apple Watch app cost nothing, and there are no ads. Paid features may come later; if they do, what you use today will keep a free tier.

Sushi AI answers plain-language questions about your own golf, like your make rate from 5 to 15 feet, with numbers calculated from your rounds. Every golfer gets 20 free questions a month, and a launch bonus raises that to 50 a month through March 31, 2027. The allowance resets on the 1st.

Nothing until you allow it. When you do, your question, the recent conversation and a summary of your golf data go to OpenAI to write the answer, with response storage turned off. You can stop sharing at any time from Sushi AI.

Yes. Export every round as JSON or spreadsheet-ready CSV, and permanently delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes your rounds and account. See Privacy for the details.

Yes. From a finished round you can save or share a round image, a replay video or a link to a recap page.
