Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Voltaire Technologies LLC, a limited liability company registered in Illinois, USA(“we”, “us”), covering your use of Sushi Golf’s web app and native apps, including the iOS app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Sushi Golf lets you recreate a completed golf round by placing shots on a course map, then turns those entries into scores, handicap estimates, strokes gained, dispersion, and shot patterns. Some features can cache work for offline use and synchronize it later. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the Service.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method and devices secure. Provide accurate information, do not share access improperly, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You can request account deletion in the Service; what the current process removes, retains, and still requires provider verification is described in the Privacy Policy.

The current Sushi Golf product is offered free of charge. There is no current subscription or in-app purchase required to use it. Sushi Golf previously sold usage credits for AI-assisted logging; that capability and new credit purchases are unavailable. Stripe and we may retain records of prior transactions for support, accounting, and legal obligations. If we offer a paid product later, its price and applicable purchase terms will be shown before you buy it.

Your golf entries and feedback remain yours. You give us a limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, synchronize, analyze, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. Historical voice or text entries may have been processed as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content or sell it.

Sharing a completed round creates a public link whose recap may include your display name, course, date, scores, and statistics. Only share content you have the right to share and are comfortable making public. Exports and shared links can be copied, forwarded, cached, or stored outside Sushi Golf. Deleting the original data from the Service cannot retrieve copies already held by another person, app, device, or preview service.

Do not misuse the Service. That includes attempting to break, interfere with, overload, or bypass its security; scraping or accessing another user’s data; submitting unlawful or abusive content; reselling access without permission; or using the Service in violation of law or another person’s rights. We may restrict or terminate access for misuse.

Course information comes from external sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Sushi Golf’s results depend on the shot locations and details you enter and on statistical models whose baselines may be approximations. Historical rounds may also contain data created by the retired AI logger. Entries, maps, synchronization, and calculated results can be wrong or unavailable.

The Service is for personal insight and entertainment. It is not an official handicap service, scoring authority, safety tool, navigation system, or professional golf instruction, and you should not rely on it where an official record or safety-critical information is required.

The Service relies on providers for authentication, hosting, course data, storage, analytics, diagnostics, feedback, and other functions. Their own terms and policies may also apply. If you download a native app through an app store, the store’s rules apply to your use of its distribution and platform services; the app store is not responsible for our content or support except where its rules or law say otherwise.

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service. Offline operation, synchronization, third-party services, and early releases may fail or change. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice before discontinuing the Service and, where practical, allow you to export your data, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voltaire Technologies LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, legal or security risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including licenses needed to handle remaining copies, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law, continue to apply.

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will provide notice through an appropriate channel before they take effect when reasonably possible. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
